Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Lahore Punjab is the largest board of Punjab and it was also the first educational board of Pakistan. Now Lahore Board has the authority to conduct matric and intermediate level exams in the district of Lahore and its nearby districts. All the public and private schools and colleges in these districts are affiliated with Lahore Board for matric and intermediate classes. Every year, thousands of private and regular students participate in the SSC and HSSC exams conducted by Lahore Board. 9th and 10th class annual exams are held during March and April while 11th and 12th class annual exams are organized by the Lahore Board in May and June. Written papers are held earlier than the practical papers.

Soon after the annual exams, Lahore Board starts the checking of papers of matric and intermediate classes and they prepare the results within two months after exams. 9th and 10th class annual exams results are announced in June while 11th and 12th class annual exams results are issued in August. The students can easily view their detailed results at the official site of the board soon after the announcement of the results while the results are uploaded at the site by the BISE Lahore. The result cards are sent to the mentioned address of the students which reach their destination after two or three days of the exams. After annual exams results, the supply exams of SSC and HSSC, also known as improvement exam or 2nd annual exam start for the unsuccessful students of matric and intermediate annual exams. The supply exams results of maric and intermediate class are declared by Lahore Board after couple of months of the exams which are also available at the official site of the board soon after the result announcement.
